Chase Quartarone Update

The Quartarone’s have taken Chase to Houston, Texas for treatment at the Burzenski Institute. Chase had his first meeting with the doctors yesterday and they feel that they can help Chase with their treatment plan as Chase has become chemo intolerant. This is alternative treatment and is not covered under insurance. Chase’s treatment starts this week for 3-4 weeks and hopefully they will be back before Thanksgiving. John relayed to us the financial situation that they face with going this direction and is a heavy burden.

On-going monthly treatments will cost thousands of dollars per month over the next year for this medical intervention treatment. Donations made through the Mitchell Thorp Foundation will help Chase receive these treatments and are greatly appreciated by this family.

The Mitchell Thorp Foundation (MTF) is a non-profit organization that supports families whose children suffer from life-threatening illnesses, diseases and disorders. MTF "cares for the caregiver" by providing both financial and emotional support to these families in their time of need.
