Dear Brad, Beth and Matthew, My heart-felt condolences

to be an inspiration - in so many far-reaching ways.
May God bless you all, now and always. With love,

Our heart and prayers go out to you during your time of
grief. We watched as you endured tremedous heartache
with so much love and dignity. The faith, courage and
strength you displayed during your son's time of need
will always be an inspiration. Know that you will
always be blessed for what you've done. With Much
Love, The Hansen Family

If it were not for the FISA-NA message I received from
David Dinerman, I would not have known of Mitchell's
heroic struggle. As a believer and father of two
special sons, I can "ONLY IMAGINE" the reception he has
already experienced with the Lord. Our hopes and
prayers are in this knowledge that your family will
be reunited with him at the perfect time and in a much
better place. This promise is from the Lord. Your
faith/inspiration to others will always be a testament
of Mitchell's life, values and the hope you gave him to
keep going. To paraphrase the Apostle Paul(Phil. 2:16),
I can see that Mitchell "ran a very good race" and came
out a winner to all who were blessed to know him.
Brad, my prayers are with you and your family this
Christmas Season! Rob Rideout

It is so hard to stand by while others suffer. Love and
prayers are all we have to offer on this earth. May
they be enough until you join Mitchell in Heaven. Gayle

What a beautiful angel the heavens have received.
Though the only time I met Matthew was in a stroller,
his courage and determination is a true inspiration for
us all. May God surround you with all the love,
strength and comfort you need. All my love and prayers.

Dear Thorp Family, We are so saddened to hear of your
loss. We first heard of Mitchell's struggle thru LCYO a
few years ago, and were so touched by him, and your
family's strength. We have a baseball player too, so
were especially affected by his determination over the
years. Although we have never met, you all have been in
our prayers, and Mitchell has inspired us to never give
up. May God be a source of strength to your whole
family now.

I look back and remember the confident, happy child you
were. You made an impression that will last a lifetime
on your little cousin Andrew. He will always swing a
bat and golf club lefty because of you. He remembers
how you used to take him out on the raft in the pool.
He thought that was the coolest. You are the Hercules
of strength to endure what you have over these past 5
years. If only we could all be as strong as you through
our everyday trials. You will continue to inspire me
not to give up and always give it my all. I find peace
in knowing you are no longer in pain. You are in good
company now, Gramps will show you the ropes. I'll miss
you and love you little cousin.

Mitchell, I have faith in your recovery. I went
through elementary school, and middle school with you.
You're an amazing person and all i can say to you and
your family is that everything happens for a reason.
and you will get through this. Right now the outlook to
everyone doesn't look as bright as it could be but give
it time. You are in my prayers...
